Thinking Intersectionality, Patricia Hill Collins

It is always motivating and refreshing to be surrounded by others doing the work of intersectionality. This weekend I had the intellectual pleasure of attending the Thinking Intersectionality Symposium at Michigan State University. Put together by Dr. Kirstie Dotson, symposium speakers included Patricia Hill Collins, Kimberlé Crenshaw and Nira Yuval Davis. Attendees included Dr. Venus Evans Winters and Dr. Alison Bailey. Nerd heaven. I have yet to come down off this intellectual high so in the meantime, I’ll share a few pics.
